Jon graduated from the University of Manchester with First Class honours in his Master of Town and Country Planning (MTCP) degree in 2007.  He began his career at Drivers Jonas LLP (now Deloitte), before moving to Australia in 2011 to advise on a diverse range of strategic development, planning and regeneration projects both in Melbourne and across regional Victoria.  Jon returned to the UK in 2015 and has worked in client focussed strategic planning roles at HOW Planning and, more recently, as part of CBRE’s national planning and development team.

Jon is a commercially astute advisor with a breadth of strategic planning and development experience that spans a range of sectors – focussed on providing clear, articulate and commercially grounded solutions to complex issues.  Jon has a wide range of experience which includes providing commercially driven planning and development advice, identifying strategic land and development opportunities, promoting major development sites, preparing advocacy and case-making to underpin major projects, influencing and formulating policy, and preparing major planning and regeneration frameworks.

Outside of the office Jon enjoys spending time with his family, which mostly includes chasing around his young children, JJ  and Ella!  Whilst less of an active participant these days, Jon is a massive sports lover and enjoys football, cricket, golf, tennis and Aussie Rules.  Jon is also a big supporter of The Christie in Manchester.
