Consultation on Amendments to the Comprehensive Masterplan for the North Lancaster Strategic Site.

On behalf of our client, Taylor Wimpey (UK) Limited (‘Taylor Wimpey’), we are consulting on amendments to the Comprehensive Masterplan for the North Lancaster Strategic Site, which Taylor Wimpey has led on the preparation of.

Taylor Wimpey previously carried out a public consultation in November 2020 prior to the submission of a hybrid planning application (for the first phase of development) accompanied by a Comprehensive Masterplan (for the whole strategic site), to invite comments and feedback on the application proposals and the Comprehensive Masterplan.

Since that previous correspondence, the hybrid planning application (LPA ref: 21/00722/HYB) was submitted to Lancaster City Council in June 2021 and is currently pending determination.

The planning application was accompanied by a Statement of Community Involvement and Consultation Statement which summarised the feedback received (from Ward Members, other landowners/developers, other  key  stakeholders, and  local residents)  and  set  out  the amendments/updates made to the Comprehensive Masterplan that was submitted alongside the hybrid planning application (a copy of the previously submitted consultation statement is available below)

Lancaster City Council planning officers have provided feedback on the Comprehensive Masterplan and Taylor Wimpey has made further amendments to the document in response.

How to Provide Feedback

Please  provide  any  comments/feedback  by  30th  November  2022  via  email

to northlancaster@asteerplanning.com, clearly stating which amendment number/page number your comments relate to.

Please note, we are only inviting comments relating to the amendments made to the Masterplan, as set out in the amendments schedule, rather than the Comprehensive Masterplan as a whole.  A summary of the previous consultation on the Comprehensive Masterplan, including comments received and amendments made in response, is provided within the previously submitted consultation statement available to view here.
