In December 2022, Asteer Planning secured reserved matters approval for 155 no. dwellings at the former Ingols golf Course site in Preston on behalf of Rowland Homes.
Hybrid Planning Permission was granted in May 2018 for the redevelopment of land associated with Ingol Village Golf Course, Preston, including a a new first team training facility for Preston North End Football Club and residential development of up to 450 dwellings.
Rowland’s proposals are for 155 no. 2, 3, and 4 bedroom family homes on Parcel A of the wider site, adjacent to Tom Benson Way. The proposals also include retained woodland, a network of public open space and footpaths and cycleways, sustainable urban drainage systems and 30% affordable housing distributed throughout the site.
The planning application was considered and unanimously approved by Preston City Council’s Planning Committee on 1st December 2022.
