Asteer Planning was instructed by Blueoak Estates to negotiate full planning permission for its proposed development at Lache Lane in Chester. The application site extends to 1.1 hectares of open land situated in a sustainable location with Chester’s settlement boundary.
The site was previously designated as Existing Open Space in the Chester Local Plan and this designation was successfully removed when the Cheshire West & Chester Local Plan was adopted in July 2019.
The proposed housing development will be of high quality and comprises 21no. new dwellings including 17no. 3 and 4 bedroom semi-detached and detached houses, 4no. 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 6no. affordable houses. The development will be set in high quality landscaping and open space and an extensive package of biodiversity net gain is proposed to address the sites Local Wildlife Site status.
The planning application was approved by Cheshire West & Chester Council in November 2021.
