Altys Lane, Ormskirk

Asteer Planning is instructed by Richborough Estates to promote its land interest at East and West of Altys Lane in Ormskirk for Green Belt release and housing allocation in the emerging West Lancashire Local Plan.


The site extends to 91 hectares in size and is sustainably located to the south east of Ormskirk Town Centre and west of Edge Hill University. The site has the potential to deliver 580 – 1,355 new homes (including 40% affordable housing), potential university expansion land (4.4 hectares), potential Eco Knowledge Park (12.7 hectares), one form entry primary school, local centre and up to 34 hectares of public open space.
