Moneystone Park, Oakamoor, Staffordshire

Moneystone Park is a high quality leisure led development by Laver Leisure, a joint venture between Arnold Laver and Bolsterstone PLC, at a former Silica Sand Quarry extending to 52 hectares (128 acres).

The development comprises up to 250 holiday lodges, a new central hub building (providing swimming pool, restaurant, bowling alley, space, gym, informal screen / cinema room, children’s soft play area, café, and shop; café; visitor centre; an administration building; maintenance building; archery centre; water sports centre; equipped play and adventure play areas; car parking and managed footpaths and cycleways set in attractive and ecological enhancements.

Asteer Planning is instructed to provide general strategic planning advice and negotiation of planning permissions for the current live developments:

  • Reserved matters application for 190 lodges, a leisure hub building with swimming pool, gym, restaurant and café with terrace, outdoor facilities, including play areas and multi-use games area, associated car parking and cycle parking, landscaping and managed footpaths, cycleways, and bridleways.
