Victoria North Strategic Regeneration Framework
Client: Manchester City Council
Project Detail
Victoria North is one of the UK’s largest and most ambitious regeneration projects. It is the biggest in Manchester’s history, extending to 155 hectares of land between Victoria Station and Queens Park to the north east of Manchester City Centre.
The regeneration scheme will deliver 15,000 new homes over the next 10-15 years, growing the population by 40,000 people. It will create seven new and distinct neighbourhoods on largely under-utilised and brownfield land, supported by new social, community and physical infrastructure including a City River Park. The SRF will refresh the wider framework for the neighborhoods including Collyhurst Village, Collyhurst South and Vauxhall Gardens.
